ECAA is expanding our stable and loyal collaboration with ECU Health by taking over anesthesia at several rural sites throughout North Carolina. We understand the complexity of anesthesia at these locations and also understand the rural area. That is why our team has partnered with ECU Health to offer one of the strongest packages in North Carolina. Starting base of nearly $350,000 (including mandatory call pay) + additional post call incentives + signing AND retention bonuses. Location: Duplin Kenansville, North Carolina Status: Full-time (exempt) Salary: High starting base of nearly $300,000 + additional call incentives, $400,000+ potential and up to $100,000 signing bonus!! Schedule and Call: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm. Urgent/emergent cases are performed from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. Call is shared equally and rotated among 3 CRNAs. The CRNA is first call, MD/DO is backup. 10 weeks off per year! Overview: ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed rural medical center located in Kenansville, North Carolina. Duplin serves approximately 27,000 patients per year and 175 anesthetics are provided, on average, each month. Duplin has 3 main ORs, and cases are mainly bread and butter and include but are not limited to, GS, Ortho, ENT, Ob-Gyn, Eyes, Dental and Healthy Peds. The schedule is shared between two anesthesiologists, in a one week on, one week off format. Surgical cases start at 0700 and end at 1500. Call begins at 1500. First call is shared with the anesthesiologist. The OR is covered by two CRNAs and one anesthesiologist every day, Monday through Friday. The CRNA will be employed by East Carolina Anesthesia Associates, one of the largest anesthesia private practices in North Carolina. The practice is managed and operated by the anesthesiologists that provide services at its various sites across the state. The most beneficial part about this structure is that the incumbent will have significant autonomy, but immediate support when and if needed. Our Eastern teams work collaboratively together to ensure that our CRNAs are comfortably assimilated into their role and within the practice. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center.

We are seeking ambitious and driven anesthetists to join our team at ECU Health due to site and department expansions in care, including new ORs being added to the surgery center, ECU Health Surgicenter. This position provides anesthetics for ECU Health Medical Center. CRNAs manage all anesthetics with extreme autonomy, while practicing in an ACT setting. We offer high patient acuity allowing the new CRNA and/or experienced CRNA to fully implement their clinical skills and education, and continue to expand within any area of expertise that may be desired. CRNAs may chose to participate in the clinical instruction of anesthesia students via our on-campus program. All surgical specialties are presented and all surgical procedures are performed excluding some transplants and extreme burn cases. It is the CRNA that manages all anesthetics; with encouraged and supported autonomy in practice.
