About the Practice:
A facility in the Winston-Salem, North Carolina area is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for autonomous full-time, part-time, or locum tenens positions. The facility focuses on gastrointestinal (GI) procedures and offers an independent practice model for CRNAs.
Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CRNAs to work independently with no supervision. The position involves managing 10–15 GI cases per day with a consistent daytime schedule and no call or night shifts. Only experienced CRNAs will be considered for these roles.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Valid and unrestricted North Carolina RN license (or eligible for licensure).
- Significant experience as a CRNA is required.
- Proven ability to practice autonomously and manage a high volume of cases efficiently.
- Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for GI procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
Full-Time: Offering a competitive compensation package around $300,000+ annually on a 1099 basis. A W-2 salary option is also available with a comprehensive benefits package including:
- Seven (7) weeks of paid vacation.

- $45,000 sign-on bonus.
Part-Time: Compensation will be pro-rated based on the agreed-upon schedule and can be structured on a 1099 or W-2 basis.
Locum Tenens: Hourly rate offered with an 8-hour daily guarantee. This will be on a 1099 basis.

Responsibilities
- Provide and manage anesthesia autonomously for a high volume of gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures (e.g., colonoscopies, endoscopies).
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively.
- Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Adhere to all facility protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements
Postgraduate degree required. All candidates must hold an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 1 years of experience required.

Starting base of nearly $300,000 + call pay + additional increased call pay and additional incentives. Earning potential is the mid 300s to low 400s, not including our robust benefits. Location: ECU Health Chowan (Edenton, NC) and ECU Health Bertie (Windsor, NC) Hospitals Status: Full-time (exempt) Salary: High starting base of $300,000 + retention bonuses and call incentives. Location: Duplin Kenansville, North Carolina Status: Full-time (exempt) Salary: High starting base of nearly $300,000 + additional call incentives, $400,000+ potential and up to $100,000 signing bonus!! Schedule and Call: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm. Urgent/emergent cases are performed from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. Call is shared equally and rotated among 3 CRNAs. The CRNA will be employed by East Carolina Anesthesia Associates, one of the largest anesthesia private practices in North Carolina. The practice is managed and operated by the anesthesiologists that provide services at its various sites across the state.
