This site is a CRNA-only covered hospital with one CRNA covering Monday - Friday from 0700 - 1500. Call is shared among the CRNAs at ECU Health Chowan. The CRNA will be employed by East Carolina Anesthesia Associates, one of the largest anesthesia private practices in North Carolina. The practice is managed and operated by the anesthesiologists that provide services at its various sites across the state. The most beneficial part about this structure is that the incumbent will have significant autonomy, but immediate support when and if needed.
