CRNA Opportunity
UNC Health Nash – Rocky Mount, NC
Full-Time or Per Diem Available
If you’re looking for autonomy, variety and a team that genuinely has your back, you’ll want to take a closer look at UNC Health Nash. We’re growing our hospital-based anesthesia team and adding CRNAs to a collaborative, CRNA-friendly ACT model where you can truly practice at the top of your license. And because we know making a change is not easy, we are offering a generous sign-on bonus as well as relocation assistance.
What Makes This Role Different
You won’t be boxed into a narrow scope here.
- CRNA-friendly ACT model with a high level of autonomy
- Supportive, respectful anesthesiologists
- Independently running the epidural service
- Broad, engaging case mix that keeps your skills sharp
Scheduling That Respects Your Life
We know flexibility isn’t a “perk.” It’s a necessity. That’s why our CRNAs work a mix of 8, 10 and 12-hour shifts, including call, with modified self-scheduling that gives you real input into your schedule. Call is shared fairly and when fully staffed, it typically means one weekend day every six weeks. You’re never scheduled to work post-call, because recovery time matters. And if you’re looking to boost your income, optional overtime opportunities are usually available.
A Culture You’ll Enjoy
Clinical excellence is expected. Respect is guaranteed. Our department is known for its family-like atmosphere and strong collaboration between anesthesia, surgery and perioperative teams. Open communication and mutual support aren’t buzzwords here; they’re how we work every day. The result is high morale, long-term retention and a team that genuinely enjoys working together. This is the kind of place where people stay not because they must, but because they want to.
In Rocky Mount you get space, community and convenience without the big city chaos.
Rocky Mount gives you something that’s getting harder to find — breathing room. Housing is affordable, the cost of living makes sense and your commute won’t eat an hour of your life each way. You can finish your shift and still have time to enjoy it.
If you love being outside, you’ll find plenty of options for boating, fishing and miles of greenways. The local food and brewery scene continues to grow and when you want more city energy, Raleigh and Durham are an easy drive. Head the other direction and you’re not far from the North Carolina coast.
UNC Health is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer. Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, status as a protected veteran or political affiliation.
