Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  • Valid and unrestricted North Carolina RN license (or eligible for licensure).
  • Proven ability to practice autonomously and manage cases independently.
  • Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for a broad range of surgical specialties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
Per Diem Rate: $1,600 per day with an (8) hour guarantee.
Schedule: Part-time, 3-4 days per week, with typical hours from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM. Ongoing Friday coverage is also needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and manage anesthesia autonomously for a variety of multi-specialty cases (specific case types will be discussed during the interview process, typically including ENT, eyes, GYN, orthopedics, general surgery, etc.).
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic patient assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans.
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia safely and effectively, ensuring patient comfort and stability throughout procedures.
  • Manage patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  • Adhere to all facility protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced outpatient or inpatient setting.
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons and other surgical team members.

Education Requirements

Postgraduate degree required. All candidates must hold an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 years of experience required.

Experienced CRNAs only.

Required Certifications

NBCRNA National Certification
