  • 30-minute response time
  • Must be able to go on-site as needed
  • Call volume varies (includes after-hours service + nursing unit calls)

Description

📍 CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) – Atrium Health Union + Union West (NC | near CLT)

This is a two-site coverage need with a dependable surgical mix—and a true call component for ortho support when it’s needed. If you’re confident in your judgment, responsive under pressure, and comfortable being the on-site solution, this assignment fits.

Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Sites: Union + Union West (covering both hospitals)
Support: No PA assigned 🚫

✅ Requirements

  • License: North Carolina (NC)
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • EMR: Epic
  • Credentialing: ~40 days

Responsibilities

🏥 Clinical Mix

  • “Bread & butter” cases plus ortho-driven consult work
  • Ortho call mix commonly includes:
  • Fractures
  • ED consults
  • Inpatient consults
  • Trauma designation: None

Education Requirements

Postgraduate degree required. All candidates must hold an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).

Required Certifications

ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) State APRN Licensure NBCRNA National Certification PALS (AHA)
