HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is looking for a Chief CRNA who is passionate about high quality patient care and leading a team focused on excellence, at our HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, Florida. As the Chief CRNA, you will be responsible for supporting and supervising a dedicated group of 18 CRNAs that perform at top of license. This role is instrumental in aligning facility goals with divisional objectives while ensuring optimal patient care delivery.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Anesthesia care team model of 12 anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs
  • Case mix includes general, ortho, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, OB, GI, endo
  • Flexible scheduling: 8s, 10s, 12s. Chief schedule requires a min. of 3 -4 days onsite.
  • No call requirement with minimal weekends.
  • CRNAs are able to do A-lines, push own meds and perform some PNBs with demonstrated proficiency. Cardiac work available if desired.

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop continuous performance improvement and risk management programs.
  • Ensure compliance with licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements.
  • Lead educational initiatives to meet APP continuing education needs.
  • Maintain efficient perioperative workflow and oversee scheduling.
  • Collaborate with leadership to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Supervise and evaluate staff APPs, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts for quality APPs in collaboration with recruitment teams.
  • Maintain readiness for regulatory inspections and evaluations.

Education Requirements

Postgraduate degree required. All candidates must hold an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience required.

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ of leadership experience.

Required Certifications

State APRN Licensure NBCRNA National Certification State RN Licensure

Incentive Compensation

  • Start date bonus up to $75K and relocation assistance available
  • Additional $30K geographic stipend. $15K stipend if cardiac proficient.
