A well-established and respected anesthesia group located in the Winter Haven, Florida area is seeking a full-time CRNA to join its growing team. The practice provides high-quality anesthesia services for a variety of surgical specialties, with the case mix being negotiable based on experience and preferences.

Opportunity:
A full-time CRNA position is available with flexible options for call or no-call roles. The opportunity offers a supportive environment and a stable setting in a family-friendly area. Applications from Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) nearing graduation are welcome.

Qualifications:

  • Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of • Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or eligibility to sit for the certification exam (for SRNAs).
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Compensation:
Annual Salary: $290,000+ (commensurate with experience and call responsibilities).

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures (case mix negotiable).
  • Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery as needed to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide safe and effective emergence and post-anesthesia care.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  • Participate in a call schedule (for call positions).
  • Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.

Education Requirements

Postgraduate degree required. All candidates must hold an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
