This mixed MD-CRNA practice provides a diverse surgical case mix in a modern hospital setting, allowing providers to practice in a collaborative environment while enjoying a predictable schedule and generous time off.

Compensation Summary:
1099 Independent Contractor

Primary Team:

  • $215/hour
  • Annualized Compensation: $430,000 ($215/hour × 2,000 hours = $430,000)

Time Off:

  • Up to 6 weeks of time off annually
  • 7 major holidays observed

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for hospital-based surgical procedures.
  • Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
  • Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and hospital personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with Texas licensure or eligibility.
  • Hospital anesthesia experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Education Requirements

Postgraduate degree required. All candidates must hold an active National Provider Identifier (NPI).

NBCRNA National Certification

Loan Repayment Eligible

This position is located in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA score: 17/25) and may qualify for NHSC loan repayment programs worth up to $50,000.
